Peripheral Neuropathies are disorders involving damage or dysfunction of the peripheral nerves, often causing burning pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, and abnormal sensations in the hands, feet, arms, or legs. These conditions may result from diabetes, chemotherapy, toxic exposure, vitamin deficiencies, infections, hereditary disorders, and other systemic diseases.
Common forms include Diabetic Polyneuropathy, Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN), and neuropathies caused by medications, chemical toxins, or chronic illnesses. Symptoms may progressively interfere with mobility, daily activities, and quality of life.
